ISP Accused of Hijacking Web Pages

An ISP in Canada has been accused of hijacking web pages.

I don’t get exactly what they’re trying to prove, except that they’re willing to muck about with stuff that’s none of their business…. Their job is to provide connection to the Internet, NOT to edit, alter or otherwise affect the content of that connection.

This is not far behind the mess here in the US involving Comcast sending false signals to deliberately interfere with users’ p2p programs… and it’s going over almost as well. I hear they’ve got a lot of angry customers on their hands.

I guess they stuck their noses where they didn’t belong ‘eh?
