Vista users "Upgrading" to XP

I keep reading more and more about vista users getting to the point where they decide to "Upgrade" to XP. What with all that I've seen about the various annoyances, DRM and security flaws I can't for the life of me imagine why anybody would want it in the first place.

Any new computer that *I* buy is going to have the hard drive formatted and either XP or Linux installed in it's place. No vista for me.... I don't care for the view
