Asus recently unveiled a new device, The MS71 storage mouse, which is doomed to fail before they even sell the first one.

This device is actually ingenious. It combines a flash drive with a wireless mouse. It’s a great idea that has a lot of potential. The problem is that it’s not shaped like a mouse. Instead it’s about the size and shape of a pack of gum. Needless to say, this makes it about the UN-handiest mouse ever designed.

Now if they take some time to redesign the case and shape it like a mouse, then it’s got potential but a rectangular mouse is never going to catch on. Too hard to handle and use.
