According to a news item on SFGate, George Lucas is not just considering the possibility of another in the series of successful movies, he’s actually researching ideas looking for just the right thing for Jones to go looking for this time.
You don’t however, need to rush off just yet to look up flight deals to attend (or stand in line outside of) the premier just yet since that elusive “just the right thing” has yet to be found.
The same article also mentioned that Lucas is also still tending to the Star Wars franchise and now that the “Clone Wars” movie is out, there is going to be an animated series on the cartoon network that’s based on the clone war movie. There are also plans for a live-action “Star Wars” TV series as well though no dates have been set yet and the original six Star Wars films will be re-released using new 3-D technology which ought to be interesting. I just hope we don’t need those stupid glasses to see the effect. Those of us with prescription glasses really can’t use them at all well and we get cheated out of the effect almost entirely.
