The Latest Must Have Game

July 14th, 2009 22:01 pm | by Ed |

Ok, I don't know exactly how recent this really is but in terms of my just having discovered it on sale, it's certainly "the latest" from my point of view.

world series of pokerIn any event, "The World Series of Poker 2008: The Battle for the Bracelets" isn't just a mere poker game. This is a full out simulation game that has every bit of the smooth high intensity graphics rendering as anybody's Sims game or your favorite first person shooter.

The main thing about it however is the game play itself. In this game you get to face off against some of the best Texas Hold'em Poker players in the world, including such personalities as Chris Ferguson, Johnny Chan, Mike (the mouth) Matusow, Lucy Lieu, Joe Hachem, T.J. Cloutier, Phil Helmuth, Annie Duke, and more.

The thing is though, that it doesn't stop there. Not only do you get to play against AI's built around each of these players, you also get to take advantage of extensive poker tutorials and strategy tips from some of the best minds in professional poker today.

The only thing that's stopping me from racing to buy it right this second is the thing about system requirements. I've burned myself on that issue before and I'm really not interested in getting my hopes all up only to find out that I need to buy a more advanced computer to be able to use the program.

On the other hand, if I DO find out my system can handle it as is, I'll be getting a copy of "The World Series of Poker 2008: The Battle for the Bracelets" faster than you can say "All in"!
