Google Trying to Re-Invent Wikipedia

December 16th, 2007 22:26 pm | by Ed |

I see that Google is now trying to get their finger into yet another pie. This time they're trying to create their own version of Wikipedia.

Like Wikipedia, the "Knol" project is going to allow people to contribute content and other users will be able to edit, comment, ask questions Etc. Of course, never let it be said that the big "g" did anything without managing to find a way to squeeze content relevant advertising into it.. At the author's discretion, an article may also contain Google advertising. Any bets on how long it takes for that to become "any article WILL contain Google advertising, the author gets no choice"?
