You can say what you like about the many various and sundry places online to get movies but when it comes to DVDs of television shows I personally think that has 'em all beat hollow.

There's two main reasons that I think so. One, they've got so many titles it isn't funny. In fact, there has yet to be a title I was looking for that I could not find either a DVD set of the entire series or at least sets for each season of a title. Two is even easier. The price. For example I don't know anywhere else that you can get the entire Dead Like Me-Complete Series in a single set on sale for only $35. Especially since it has a suggested retail price of almost twice that.

I first heard of the show back when it's first season was showing on cable, though I didn't watch any of it until I found a few episodes online recently. That got me hooked. I realize that, scripturally speaking, it's not even close to accurate... I mean, death just doesn't work that way at all no way no how.

Just the same, I found that in spite of that it has some interesting observations about life and death and frankly, some rather funny (if irreverent) moments as well. Besides which, since I've started watching it I would like to have the entire series so that I can watch all of them at my leisure. I'm just a bit OCD when it comes to things like that. When I start to watch a series I *NEED* to watch the entire thing. Not only that but I have to watch it in some proper order... either the order the episodes were originally aired or the order in which the events portrayed occur.. Having a DVD set of the whole series allows me to do this.
