It's now about 34 hours since I deleted the freenet 0.5 routing tables and started fresh with one single node ref to start with. My open connections are at the level that I'm used to seeing them:

The routing table now knows about 272 active nodes ...

It's just under nine hours since I stopped my freenet 0.5 node, deleted the routing tables and re-started it with only one node in the seednodes.ref and so far with the node running normally, learning about other nodes and expanding the routing table with newly discovered nodes the routing table ...
